Threading is a method of hair removal originating from eastern countries. It has now become extremely popular in the UK.

We offer Threading at our Faversham and Swalecliffe salons. All our therapists are well practiced in the art of Threading and can offer it on areas such as Eyebrows, Lip, chin and any facial hair. The benefits of threading are that it is great for a sensitive skin, as the thread glides over the skin, plucking out the hairs so there is not heat or pulling of the delicate facial area.

Threading is a hair removal technique that uses 100% cotton thread. The cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted quickly from the follicle. For women who would like to pursue a more natural beauty regime, hair threading is a good choice, since it does not use products that could irritate the skin. Unlike tweezing or plucking, eyebrow threading removes one clean line of hair all at once, making it much quicker and easier to shape the brows.

Once Threaded the hair removal will last approximately the same time as waxing, about 3-4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.
